Wizz Shadow Jumper (Peter Green Set)

Every component of the Wizz Peter Green P.A.F. Pickup Set is custom made to vintage-correct specifications, based on extensive testing to recreate the distinctive out-of-phase tone of Peter Green’s legendary 1959 Les Paul. Using Formvar wire wound in reverse — a departure from Gibson’s late-’50s methods — Wizz has developed what they believe to be the perfect version of this iconic sound. Alternative builds using plain enamel wire or a flipped magnet are also available on request.

Specifications:

• Threaded nickel silver baseplates with silk-screened PATENT APPLIED FOR decal

• Custom 42 AWG Formvar wire, reverse wound for Peter Green voicing

• Sand cast Alnico magnets (USA-made)

• Low carbon steel keeper bars, slugs, and screws

• “Loose” 2-strand braided hookup wire

• Out-of-phase middle-position wiring as standard, with other configurations available by request

Each set is built with the same attention to detail as Wizz’s Premium Clone, delivering the haunting tonal character heard on Fleetwood Mac’s early recordings and revered by players worldwide.
