Wizz Premium Clone P.A.F. Pickup Set

Every component of the Wizz Premium Clone P.A.F. Pickup Set is custom made to vintage-correct specifications, faithfully reproducing the construction, tone, and even the scent of late-’50s originals. From baseplates to wire, every part is either made in-house or sourced exclusively for Wizz, with no off-the-shelf components used. Most parts, including baseplates, keeper bars, slugs, and maple spacers, are crafted in Wizz’s own workshop, while nickel and low-carbon steel are imported from the USA, along with custom-manufactured coil wire.

Specifications:

• Threaded nickel silver baseplates with silk-screened PATENT APPLIED FOR decal

• Cellulose acetate butyrate bobbins in light cream, matched to unopened 1959 P.A.F.s

• Includes matching aged butyrate M69 P.A.F. white rings

• Nickel silver covers with nickel plating and correct TV shape

• Custom 42 AWG plain enamel wire

• Sand cast Alnico 4 magnets (USA-made, with A2, A3, and A5 available on request)

• Low carbon steel keeper bars, slugs, and screws

• Correct mounting screws for pickups to rings and for rings to guitar included

• "Loose" 2-strand braided hookup wire

• DC Resistance: Neck ~7.7k, Bridge ~8.3k

• Aged finish throughout

Each set is uniquely numbered and takes around 20 hours to complete. Widely regarded as one of the closest P.A.F. replicas available, with examples installed in original Bursts and other high-value vintage instruments.
