Ron Ellis LRP Humbucker Pickup Set

The LRP set was originally developed for the 2012 Gibson Lee Roy Parnell Signature Les Paul.

Ron Ellis worked with Lee Roy Parnell, vintage collectors and the Gibson Custom Shop to recreate the PAF pickups found in Duane Allman’s original 1957 Goldtop Les Paul.

The goal of the design was to replicate the clarity, articulation and harmonic richness associated with Duane Allman’s original PAF pickups.

Lee Roy Parnell, who is closely familiar with Duane Allman’s Les Paul guitars and their sound, collaborated directly in the process of refining the specification.

Ron Ellis nickel silver covers follow historically correct construction associated with vintage humbucker designs.
