Ron Ellis Jazzmaster Pickup Set
Vintage Inspired Jazzmaster Specification Based on a 1964 Reference Instrument
€685.00
Out of stock
These Jazzmaster pickups were developed using a vintage inspired specification based on a 1964 Jazzmaster owned by a friend of Ron Ellis.
The design focuses on three dimensional response, clear note to note separation and balanced EQ across the frequency spectrum.
Compared with many modern Jazzmaster pickups that can sound bright or sharp, this design emphasizes a more open and spacious character with detailed mids and upper frequencies.
The goal is to capture the character associated with classic vintage Jazzmaster pickups.
From Ron Ellis
“These vintage influenced JM pickups are inspired by a friend’s amazing ’64 Jazzmaster. They offer a three dimensional, open and clear note to note clarity with a perfect balance across the EQ spectrum. Unlike the bright, spiky tone of modern JM pickups, these have an airy, spacious quality with beautiful mids and upper frequencies, capturing the essence of the true classic vintage sound.”
