The historic 54S are an accurate recreation of the very first Stratocaster pickups developed in 1954. The wind pattern, materials, and construction of the 54S are unique to the 1954 to 1955 production period.

This set exhibits natural compression, bloom, and buoyancy in the notes, resulting in strong harmonic content and dynamic response characteristic of early Stratocaster designs.

54S are well suited for clear, articulate playing and pairing with a 50s or early 60s style guitar build.
