Ron Ellis Killa Neck, 52T Bridge Telecaster Pickup Set

This Telecaster set combines the Killa neck pickup with the 52T bridge pickup.

The Killa is an open top Telecaster neck pickup designed to emulate the character of a Broadcaster bridge pickup. Originally developed for Jedd Hughes, the design brings Broadcaster style response into the neck position while maintaining the tonal range associated with early Broadcaster pickups.

The open top construction allows the pickup to deliver stronger attack and clarity while preserving the classic Telecaster character.

The 52T bridge pickup is a recreation of the first Blackguard Telecaster bridge pickups and was developed as an exact replica of an original prototype from 1951.

It delivers the classic Blackguard character often described as smoky, woody and wiry, with natural compression, bloom and a balanced tonal spectrum.

The 52T is commonly associated with classic Telecaster tones used by players such as Vince Gill, Julian Lage, Steve Wariner, Brent Mason and Jimmy Olander.

Together, the Killa neck and 52T bridge create a Telecaster set that combines Broadcaster style neck attack with the traditional Blackguard bridge character.
