The Tele Neck Gold Foil Voiced Pickup is Mojo Pickups’ interpretation of a Teisco style Gold Foil response in a standard Telecaster neck format.
It is a single coil design engineered to fit a traditional Telecaster neck route without modification. The construction uses 44 AWG wire and ceramic magnets to replicate the characteristic response associated with 1960s Japanese Gold Foil pickups.
This combination produces a bright yet full tone with strong string definition and a clear, immediate response. Compared to traditional Telecaster neck pickups, it offers improved clarity and articulation, avoiding the darker and more compressed character often associated with covered neck units.
The neck pickup measures approximately 5.6 kΩ for balanced output and clarity.
