The P90 Gold Foil Neck Pickup is Mojo Pickups’ interpretation of the classic 1960s Teisco style Gold Foil, engineered to fit a standard P90 soapbar route.
It is a true single coil design built to original vintage specifications, using 44 AWG wire and rubberised ceramic magnets. This construction follows the traditional Japanese Gold Foil blueprint and delivers the characteristic response associated with these pickups.
The result is a bright yet full tone with strong string definition and a clear, immediate response. The pickup remains articulate under increased gain, retaining clarity and separation.
The neck pickup measures approximately 6.1 kΩ for balanced output and clarity.
