The PAF Vintage N.O.S Wire Pickup Set is Mojo Pickups’ limited edition interpretation of a 1959 style humbucker, built using original N.O.S 42 AWG plain enamel wire.
It is a dual coil design constructed using period correct components, including butyrate bobbins, roughcast Alnico 5 magnets, and nickel silver hardware. The pickups are machine wound using vintage wire from original wooden spools, following winding patterns intended to match vintage coil structure.
The magnets are based on analysis of original vintage units, and the construction includes maple spacers and braided two strand hookup wire, maintaining a traditional signal path and component layout.
Each set is part of a limited run of 100, supplied in individually numbered packaging.
