The 50s P90 Soapbar Classic Pickup Set is Mojo Pickups’ standard interpretation of a vintage 1950s P90, built using period correct materials and construction.
It is a single coil design constructed with 42 AWG plain enamel wire and built on a 49.2 mm bobbin format. The pickups follow traditional P90 architecture, using UK made baseplates and keepers along with vintage correct butyrate covers.
The set is supplied as RWRP for hum cancelling in the middle position.
The set is voiced to provide a fuller response compared to lower wound variants, while maintaining the characteristics associated with classic P90 designs.
