The N.O.S Wire P90 Soapbar Pickup Set is Mojo Pickups’ vintage correct interpretation of a 1950s P90, built using genuine N.O.S plain enamel wire.
It is a single coil design constructed using 42 AWG plain enamel wire from vintage stock and roughcast Alnico 3 magnets. This follows the original P90 architecture, using period correct materials and construction methods.
The pickups are machine wound using 1950s N.O.S wire, including Essex wire from Mojo’s private stock, maintaining the coil structure associated with vintage units.
The neck pickup measures approximately 7.2 kΩ and the bridge pickup approximately 8.3 kΩ.
