Mojo Mojosonic Pickup

The Mojosonic is Mojo Pickups’ humbucker sized interpretation of the classic DeArmond 2000 style pickup.

It is a true single coil design built to capture the character of early Dynasonic style pickups while fitting directly into a standard humbucker route. The construction uses Alnico 5 rod magnets and a coil wound with 44 AWG wire, producing the fast attack and strong note definition associated with this style of pickup.

The wider magnetic aperture typical of Dynasonic style designs gives the Mojosonic a clear, immediate response with strong string separation and a pronounced upper mid presence. The result is a bright and articulate tone with tight bass response and a dynamic feel that responds clearly to picking intensity.

The neck pickup measures approximately 7.5 kΩ for balanced output and clarity, while the bridge pickup measures approximately 11 kΩ for increased drive and presence.

Finished with Mojo’s distinctive Tortoise Top covers.
