The 59 Style Telecaster Pickup Set is Mojo Pickups’ interpretation of late 1950s Telecaster pickups, built using period correct materials and construction.
It is a traditional single coil set, hand wound and scatter wound to vintage specifications. The bridge pickup is wound with 42 AWG wire and measures approximately 7.0 kΩ, while the neck pickup uses 43 AWG wire and measures approximately 6.5 kΩ.
The set features staggered Alnico 5 magnets, vintage spaced pole pieces and punched fibre flatwork. The bridge pickup is fitted with a copper plated steel baseplate, while both pickups feature white string coil wrap and cloth covered hookup wire.
