The 52 Style Telecaster Pickup Set is Mojo Pickups’ interpretation of early 1950s Blackguard Telecaster pickups, built using period correct materials and construction.
It is a traditional single coil set, hand wound and scatter wound to vintage specifications. The bridge pickup is wound with 42 AWG wire and measures approximately 7.3 kΩ, while the neck pickup uses 43 AWG wire and measures approximately 7.0 kΩ.
The set features non-staggered Alnico 5 magnets, punched flatwork and vintage correct white string coil wrap. The bridge pickup is fitted with a UK made 1.2 mm copper plated steel baseplate, while both pickups feature cloth covered hookup wire.
