Lundgren’s M7 was the first pickup designed for Meshuggah’s Fredrik Thordendal. In Yiddish, “Meshuggah” means roughly “crazy/mad,” and players may fall madly in love with the M model pickup with lots of power and attitude.
According to Fredrik Thordendal: “This pickup is out of this world.” The pickup is well known both for high power and clarity. The design is a combination of a unique winding and a ceramic magnet placed under the pickup. With lots of gain, harmonics come easy. The powerful high output M humbucker lets notes come through even with heavy distortion. The pickup has lots of low end.
