The “Mr. Jimmy” set is voiced after the Stratocaster tones heard on Led Zeppelin’s In the Evening, reflecting Jimmy Page’s use of brighter, cutting single coils in a heavier context.
Built with 42 AWG heavy formvar wire and Alnico 5 magnets with vintage stagger, these pickups emphasize harmonic overtones and attack while retaining warmth in the bass. Neck wound to around 6.0k (7,700 turns), middle 6.1k (7,800 turns), bridge 6.2k (7,900 turns).
